Privacy

Plytica is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page says plainly what is stored and why.

What we store

Your email address, display name and preferences; the usernames of the chess platforms you link; the games you import by hand; the analyses, drills and progress you generate; your plan and the gift codes you redeem; when, how often and why we turned down a new analysis. Nothing else.

What we never store

Passwords for Chess.com or Lichess — we never ask for them. Lichess access tokens are used once to read your username and then discarded. Payment details are handled by the payment provider, never by us.

Where analysis happens

Stockfish runs inside your browser. Positions are not sent to a server to be evaluated; only the finished report is saved to your account.

Your control

You can export everything as JSON or delete your account and all attached data from your profile, at any time and without asking us.

Learning activity and optional reminders

We store your first learning answers, help used, feedback progress and optional study responses separately from move scores. If you use the daily routine, we also store reminder preferences, completed days, your personal notes and what you report as helpful. Email reminders require explicit opt-in and can be disabled in Training or from a reminder. This activity is included in your account export and removed when you delete your account. We do not record your screen or audio.
